Connected to your custodians and the tools you live in

Sterling pulls account data from Schwab and Fidelity every business day, syncs your Outlook email and calendar, joins your Teams meetings, and works with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint through Claude. Client data stays current without anyone re-keying it.

Custodians

Schwab and Fidelity accounts, current every morning

Stop updating balances by hand before every meeting. Sterling receives your custodian's daily data and keeps each household's accounts and holdings up to date, so plans, advice, and the client portal all start from today's numbers.

Charles Schwab

Live

For firms that custody with Schwab Advisor Services.

  • Account balances, positions, and cost basis, refreshed every business day
  • Sterling suggests which household each account belongs to, and you confirm
  • Holdings flow straight into the household's plan, facts, and client portal
How it's authorized: Your firm signs Schwab's third-party data access authorization naming RK Sterling and lists its master accounts. Once Schwab approves, your accounts appear in Sterling ready to link.

Fidelity

Live

For firms on Fidelity's Wealthscape platform.

  • Account balances, positions, and cost basis, refreshed every business day
  • Sterling suggests which household each account belongs to, and you confirm
  • Holdings flow straight into the household's plan, facts, and client portal
How it's authorized: Your firm adds an outbound transmission rule in Wealthscape for each G number, guided step by step inside Sterling. Fidelity then sends the data each night.

You stay in control of the data. Your custodian releases it only after your firm authorizes it. Nothing is linked to a household until an advisor confirms the match, and the feed never creates households on its own. Full account numbers are not stored in Sterling's database, only a secure fingerprint and the last four digits.
